An 18-year-old man died Thursday following an attempted home invasion robbery in Santa Rosa.
Jedediah Boncutter, 18, of Kelseyville, died at the hospital after he was stabbed several times during the home invasion, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
On Thursday at 2:28 a.m., officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon that occurred in the 200 block of West 3rd Street.
Officials say a Santa Rosa man fought off four robbers and killed one of them in the process. The victim had met Olivia Elcock online, according to police

A Santa Rosa man overpowered multiple home invaders, stabbing one of them to death, after managing to wrest a shotgun away from one of his attackers in a bloody attack Thursday that began with an online date, police said.
The incident began around 2 a.m. Thursday when the victim, who was not identified by police, invited a 19-year-old woman whom he had met through a dating app into his home on West Third Street, near Dutton Avenue. Police declined to specify what app was used.
