A 21-year-old woman found dead near the campus of Iowa State University on Friday morning has been identified as Minnesota native Olivia Chutich.
Chutich is the daughter of Minnesota State Supreme Court Justice, Margaret Chutich, and Allina Health CEO, Dr. Penny Wheeler. Chutich and Wheeler confirmed their daughter s death in a brief statement Friday night. It is with great sadness that we confirm that we confirm that Olivia Chutich, our beloved daughter, died in Ames, Iowa. Olivia was the light of our lives. Ames, IA (KROC-AM News) - The daughter of a Minnesota Supreme Court Justice and prominent Minnesota business leader died yesterday on the campus of Iowa State University.
A news release issued by the Ames Iowa Police Department says officers responded to a medical call at the Delta Delta Delta Sorority just before 10 o clock Friday morning after a call or reported that a college-aged female was unconscious in the parking lot. Officials say the 21-year-old Iowa State University student was pronounced dead at the scene.
A statement issued on behalf of Minnesota State Supreme Court court Justice Margaret Chutich and Allina Health CEO Dr. Penny Wheeler indicates the young woman was their daughter, 21-year-old Olivia Chutich.
According to a release from the Ames Police Department, at 9:49 a.m. Friday, police responded to a medical call at the Delta Delta Delta Sorority on the 300 block of Ash Avenue. The caller reported a woman was found unconscious in the parking lot .
