This week we bring you photos from a revived fun day in Reading in 2009. The Southcote extravaganza helped bring families and friends from across the community together in the Bank Holiday weekend sunshine. The event, which took place on the last May Bank Holiday in 2009, included stalls, steel pan music, food and fairground games in Coronation Square, and was organised by Southcote Children’s Centre. Olivia Bretney and Emma Hawkins were busy getting visitors to guess the name of the bear Attractions included face painting and balloon modelling, as well as a bouncy castle, climbing wall, traditional swing boats and a coconut shy.
