SFA Symphony Orchestra Concert

The conducting talents of Oliver Yan, graduate student in the School of Music at Stephen F. Austin State University, will be spotlighted when the Symphony Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 24, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus.<br/><br/>Yan, who is from Hong Kong, is earning a master’s degree in conducting from SFA. The Symphony Orchestra at Stephen F. Austin State University will perform works by Beethoven and Mozart when the student ensemble performs at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 25, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus. SFA Symphony Orchestra conductor if Dr. Gregory Grabowski. For this concert, graduate assistant conductor Oliver Yan from Hong Kong will conduct the complete performance.
