Baltimore City Police Commissioner Michael Harrison is supporting tougher penalties for those who illegally carry guns. It comes as the commissioner is under fire following a recent wave of deadly gun violence in the city.
The commissioner says staffing and Baltimore s gun culture are two issues that need to be solved. This, as one group is highlighting another concern how women are involved.
A cry to save lives echoed from the walls in the Oliver Community Center in east Baltimore where an ongoing pain has reached its boiling point with residents. There are women that are not being protected or valued, said panelist Angie Winder.
