One injured in Olive Township crash on U.S. 31

A Volkswagon Atlas was stopped properly on southbound U.S. 31 at a red light at Port Sheldon.
A 54-year-old Holland man driving a Chevy Tahoe did not slow or stop for the red light and ran into the Atlas.
The driver of the Atlas, also a 54-year-old Holland man, and passenger, a 54-year-old Holland woman, did not report any injuries, while the driver of the Tahoe was pinned in his vehicle with a leg an hip injury. He was extricated by Olive Township Fire and transported to Zeeland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that a white van followed a 13-year-old girl as she walked along Felch Street near 104th Avenue in Holland Township, according to Capt. Jake Sparks.

OTTAWA COUNTY, MI - Two drivers were injured - one critically - in a pair of traffic crashes that took place Saturday night in Ottawa County, according to news releases from the Sheriff’s Office.
At 4:30 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a crash on 120th Avenue and Greenly Street in Holland Township, according to the first release. A 21-year-old Holland Township man turned into the path of a 39-year-old resident traveling southbound, leading to the crash. The 21-year old was taken to Zeeland Hospital and then airlifted to Spectrum Butterworth with critical injuries, according to the release. The other driver was uninjured.
Two Holland women seriously injured in Olive Township crash

OLIVE TWP. Two passengers in a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado were taken to area hospitals following a single-vehicle crash Friday on Port Sheldon Street.
One of the passengers, a 68-year-old Holland woman, is in critical condition at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. The other passenger, a 40-year-old Holland woman, is in serious condition at Holland Hospital.
The crash happened at 3:57 p.m. Friday, April 9, on Port Sheldon Street, east of 128th Avenue.
The preliminary investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff s Office determined the Chevrolet was traveling westbound on Port Sheldon Street when the driver, a 74-year-old Holland man, drove off the roadway and crashed into a tree.
