(JERSEY CITY, NJ) Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC), together with the Farragut Fund for Catalan Culture in the U.S., announces a series of events during the Sant Jordi USA Festival of Books, Roses & the Arts, to be presented at JCTC Studios, 165 Newark Avenue, Jersey City (enter on Barrow Street). This free, hybrid festival – in-person and online – is a branch of the beautiful and emblematic Sant Jordi Book Festival, born in Barcelona and devoted to Saint George the dragonslayer. This year’s festival is presented for the first time in its new home in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The screening takes place at JCTC Studios (165 Newark Avenue, Jersey City). The Power of One is a program of 7 unique documentary shorts from Belarus, Chile, and the United States, with proceeds supporting Ukraine.
(JERSEY CITY, NJ) Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) will have Melissa Lowery as the latest “Black Space” guest on Sunday, February 27 at 5:00pm, in conversation with JCTC’s Ashley Nicole Baptiste. Lowery will discuss her first feature documentary, Black Girl in Suburbia, on the second season of the popular talk series, to be live-streamed for audiences on Facebook Live, Zoom, and YouTube.
