The eager readers far surpassed that goal by keeping their eyes on books for more than 680,000 minutes between June 19 and July 28, Marissa Guidara, youth services district consultant for the Reading Library District, announced Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023.
Reading District Libraries throughout Berks are participating in program which challenges children to reach a countywide goal of 500,000 minutes of reading between June 19 and July 28.
