The new Askaneli restaurant in Fort Lauderdale salutes the rustic simplicity of Georgian cooking with dishes such as Adjarian khachapuri, a bulging flatbread shaped like a dugout canoe, and khinkali, baseball-size dumplings with savory broth trapped inside.
Also open: Spinnato’s Hoagies & Meats in Pompano Beach and The Falcon in Delray Beach. Meanwhile, Kosher Chobee in West Palm Beach and Larry’s Ice Cream & Cafe in Boca Raton are coming later this June.

Askaneli Georgian Restaurant opened in downtown Fort Lauderdale and Mickey's Downtown Bistro dueling-piano bar debuted in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Larry’s Ice Cream & Cafe and Sushi Sake are coming later this spring to Boca Raton.
