The idea of creating an English-language issue of Commons journal has been discussed for a long time, and it became especially acute in connection with the Russian full-scale invasion and the emerging significant interest in Ukraine among foreign audiences.
It may be a year since the “Restitutions” panel and roundtable took place, of which this is the first part of an edited transcript, but the dialogue has aged remarkably well, with the majority of these issues remaining “live” matters of discussion and, indeed, contestation.
