New communications equipment capable of working under strong radio-electronic impact has been supplied to the Belarusian army, the country s defense ministry said on Saturday
According to Oleg Mishchenko, they have managed to radically change the approach to the equipping of signal troops since Belarus became independent. A program on equipping army units with devices of Belarusian make has been implemented thanks to the relevant presidential decree.
On 27 June Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a decree to award 75 Belarusians from various walks of life, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Participants of the session discussed matters concerning the creation, operation, and development of the joint communications system of the CIS armies. They summed up results achieved in 2021 and determined the main events for the 2021-2025 period.
