More than a dozen suspected drug dealers have appeared in court after a major police probe targeting criminals who use the mobile encryption service EncroChat.
A total of 14 people - including some from Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham - have been charged with the large scale supply of drugs, possession of firearms and ammunition, and money laundering.
They were all arrested as part of South West Regional Organised Crime Unit s Operation Venetic - the law enforcement response to the takedown EncroChat.

Neighbourhoods in South Gloucestershire which are now almost Covid-free have increased from ten to 11 during the same period - the latest seven-day rolling data up to March 5 shows.
