There is one place most men find a retreat from everything. That location is the barbershop. The owner of Old Time Barbershop in San Antonio, Texas, knows all too well that his barbershop is more than just haircuts and shaves.
Most barbershops show off expensive barber chairs, extensive mirrors, and high dollar storefronts. This barbershop is tucked away in a small shopping center near the intersection of Bandera and Evers road. This is one barbershop that you will take a step back in time to simpler things.
Mr. Frank Gamboa runs the Old Time Barbershop and opens the location first thing in the morning. He can often be seen unlocking the door at sunrise and getting the shop ready for the customers ahead. Mr. Gamboa has been unlocking the same door for 26 years.
