Our Correspondent Kohima, Aug. 24 (EMN): A body was found lying in front of the cobbler’s shop at Old Tata parking (Keziekie) in Kohima on Wednesday, according to Kohima Police. On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot at around 6 am and identified the deceased and family members. Since the family members refused to conduct post-mortem examination, the cause of death could not be ascertained, the additional superintendent of police and PRO of Kohima Police, Vitoshe Sumi told Eastern Mirror. However, no angle of foul play was found, he added. He added that an unnatural death case was registered at North Police Station, Kohima, and further investigations are on. The body was later handed over to the families after observing legal formalities. The person was identified as 22-year-old, Nchumbemo Odyuo, from Wokha district and resident of Naga Bazaar colony, Kohima, PRO further informed.
