Tonight show has become this very unpredictable show. Its more of like an Old School Variety show with singing and dancing and flying and skits and gymnastics. Its great. It reminds you that these shows are driven by and a reflection of who the host is. It could really only be done by jimmy fallon. The host, he took over from at the tonight show, jay leno, his style was 180 degrees different. Jay lenos style was basically like unflappablity. A calmness, a calm, down to earth every man in which a lot of the joke with jay leno was about him not getting not too riled up about anything. Not being surprised. Hes a man who never expressed shock. And that is why on rare occasions, mr. Mellow talked about politics, whatever he said about politics would reverberate. You didnt expect him to care that much. And in maryland cars were caked in ice after a water main break. And in massachusetts, the roof of a Shopping Plaza collapsed under the weight of all that heavy snow. Extremist groups like isis do not represent islam. He spoke wednesday at an International Summit in washington. Al qaeda and isil and groups like it are desperate for legitimacy. They try to portray themselves as religious leaders, holy warriors in defense of islam. They are not religious leaders, they are terrorists. [ applause ] and we are not at war with islam. [ applause ] we are at war with people who have perverted islam. In the meantime an iraqi official claims that isis recently burned as many as 40 people near the town of al baghdadi. Chief u. S.
