Cocaine was allegedly secreted’ in Limerick man s underwear

Bruff gardai found almost €5,000 worth of cocaine hidden in a man’s underpants, Kilmallock Court heard.
Michael O’Neill, aged 33, of Ballyvouden, Kilteely was charged with 11 offences before the court. These include possession of drugs, sale and supply, possession of stolen property and dangerous driving.
Garda Niall Kenny said Mr O’Neill made no reply to any of the charge sheets. On behalf of the State, Garda Kenny objected to bail being granted.
“If bail is granted there is no doubt in my mind he will continue to commit further serious offences and fail to meet bail conditions,” said Garda Kenny.

The death has occurred of Séamus Mc Cauley, Ballylanders, Limerick. Séamus passed away peacefully in London. Son of the late Séamus and Eleanor (Baby) Mc Cauley. Sadly missed by his brothers Patrick and John, sisters Pauline, Sheila, Kay and Eleanor, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Memorial Mass will be held will be held in The Church of The Assumption, Ballylanders, at a later date and his ashes interred in the local cemetery. May he rest in peace.
The death has occurred of Michael Lonergan Canon Lee Park, Pallasgreen, Limerick peacefully in the loving care of Milford Care Centre. Predeceased by his parents Michael & Mary, son Mikie, brother Sean.
