An iconic market hall in Llanidloes that is said to be the only one of its kind in Wales is being badly neglected . Campaigners who are trying to preserve The Old Market Hall, which has has stood in the centre of Llanidloes for more than four centuries, say they are absolutely shocked and saddened that heavy goods vehicles continue to damage the listed building. The Old Market Hall Committee said it will continue to battle away at the authorities to see that the Hall is given the treatment it deserves . In a statement on Facebook, the committee said: The southern wall is damp and crumbling in places and the pargeting between the ceiling beams is crumbling and pieces are strewn all over the floor now.
