Students here have been robbed at knife point just outside the school, but this time this morning the student was stabbed. The victim is a senior, who friends say regularly drives to school and parks in the nearby neighborhood. This morning as he got out of his car just steps from the school a man approached him and demanded his phone and money. There was a brief exchange of words. A struggle ensued and our victim was stabbed in the leg. Reporter the suspect dropped a knife and fled on foot. The student was able to walk into the school and ask for help. His friends say they were shocked to see their friend as he staggered into the school. Saw him going into an ambulance and theres like blood. Thats all i knew. Dinkins took off before he took a sharp righthand term between these two houses. And according to the report, he cut through those two homes as the officer continued to chase.
