hotel. right. we begin with jurors in the casey anthony murder who will begin their first full day of deliberations today. after receiving final instructions from the judge they met t for a few hours yesterday without reaching a verdict. abc s diana alvear is joining us this morning from orlando with more. diana. reporter: peggy and daniel, good morning. six hours. that s how long the jury spent in deliberations on their first day. they have a lot on to consider. the prosecution did their best to leave a lasting and devastating impression of casey anthony. after 45 days of arguments, evidence, and outbursts both in and out of court, it s now the jury s turn to weigh in. is casey anthony guilty of murder? members of the jury, i would like to thank you for your attention during the trial. reporter: the jury got the case monday at noon. after watching home video of a giggling 2-year-old caylee and hearing from the defendant herself one last time. an angry casey ranting in a re
gesture at the assistant state attorney. your actions may have jeopardized or could have jeopardized all of the work that the attorneys have done in this particular case. reporter: before the defense rested, they questioned casey s father george one more time, suggesting the way the anthony family had buried its family pets resembled the way 2-year-old caylee was found. their theory is george disposed of caylee s body after she accidentally drowned. was it wrapped in duct tape? sir, i have no idea. you re going back almost 30 years here, sir. reporter: crystal holloway was on the stand. she recalled when he painfully raised the issue of caylee s death. he said it was an accident, that snow balled out of control. i was in shock. by the time i looked up, his eyes were filled like with tears. reporter: judge belvin perry told the jury to expect to get the case on saturday after closing arguments.
