LINN COUNTY, Ore. – A new fire start in east Linn County has officials on edge.
The U.S. Forest Service said the Bruler Fire is on the boundary of the Sweet Home and Detroit ranger district. It’s estimated to be between 15 and 20 acres and has high potential to spread.
Emergency closures are in place for the Middle Santiam Wilderness, Old Cascade Crest Loop Trails (Swamp Peak and Gordon Peak), and Forest Service Roads 11 (Straight Creek Road), 1161, 1133 and 1012.
