HochStrings Winter Concert: Folk, Fiddling, & Birds The HochStrings Adult Chamber Orchestra, directed by Pia Liptak, performs a free concert of string music with a program that includes music of Florence Price – “Ticklin’ Toes,” “The Old Boatman,” and the second of her “Folk Songs in Counterpoint,” based on the folk song “Clementine” – and two movements of Haydn’s “Bird Quartet,” and the popular bluegrass fiddle tune “Orange Blossom Special" with train sound effects.
