UTICA, N.Y. A decision on the future of the Olbiston Apartment complex could come as early as Thursday according to Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri.
NEWSChannel 2 received word the codes department and Utica fire marshal were on scene Wednesday evening evaluating the building.
NEWSChannel 2 reached out to Mayor Palmieri for comment. He says that over the last year the third, fourth and fifth floor of the complex were closed down. He says the city is evaluating the first and second floor and will make a final determination on Thursday regarding the health and well being of the remaining residents.
