Ola, GiveIndia unveil the ‘O2ForIndia’ initiative for Bengaluru residents
‘O2ForIndia’, an initiative to provide oxygen concentrators free of cost through Ola App for home-isolated Covid-19 patients in Bengaluru, was launched on Wednesday. The initiative is a partnership between Ola Foundation and GiveIndia Foundation.
Launching the initiative, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and State Covid Task Force Head Dr CN Ashwathanarayan, said: “This new initiative is being implemented in Malleshwaram and Koramangala, and later will be expanded throughout the city and also to other places where Ola is operating.”
“This service will be given only to patients whose oxygen saturation is below 94 per cent,” he added.

Ola will provide requisite infrastructure and logistics for the vaccination with the drive being conducted across all the geographies it operates in globally.
Ola, one of the worldâs leading mobility companies, on Wednesday announced that it will cover the COVID-19 vaccination cost for all employees and dependents, as the world continues its fight against the pandemic. This makes Ola among the first global mobility companies to announce a COVID vaccination drive.

The vaccination drive will also be extended to all the direct contractual employees, consultants, advisors of the company and their immediate dependents including spouse, kids and parents, comprising more than 24,000 people. The COVID vaccination drive will be over and above Ola s existing medical insurance policy.
