I like to dedicate this article that focuses on June 12, to ever green memory of Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (MKO) who championed the Democracy that many of our past leaders have opportunistically enjoyed. Finally, I salute the courage of our patriots who stood up for Equity, Fair play and Justice. Equally, I recognize those who I personally reach out to during the consultation on the desirability of June 12 as our democracy day: former President Goodluck Jonathan, Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr Okwe Nwodo, Chief Wole Olanipekun, Prof Wole Soyinka WS, Femi Falana, Yele Sowore and many others.
