The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has ordered the immediate removal of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Okokomaiko for his lack of supervision of his men. The removal order came less than 24 hours after SaharaReporters reported that policemen attached to the division of the Lagos Command, forcefully extorted a mobile phone dealer at the Alaba International Market, the sum of N100,000 without committing any offence.
