Things are picking up this spring in a somewhat normal way as COVID-19 rates drop, and I know all of us are ready to attend some of the wonderful community events we have been missing over the last year. So, three cheers to Oklahoma’s vaccination efforts, and let’s get our vaccinated selves out to enjoy upcoming gatherings – even with some restrictions, like masks, limited seating capacities, or outdoor-only venues.
First, on Friday, celebrate the week Oklahoma City’s annual Festival of the Arts would have begun during a Festival Spring Fling concert at the Jones Assembly. Join the Arts Council Oklahoma City at Jones in person or virtually at 7 p.m. for the celebration featuring Chase McCumber, The Aints, Ckai Dawson and Elevation Band performing on the patio.
