Winter Weather Forces Tulsa Health Department to Reschedule 8,000 COVID Vaccination Appointments
The Tulsa Health Department s vaccination clinic is expected to open Thursday after closing for winter weather Wednesday.
Those with vaccination appointments will get their shot on the lower level of the River Spirit Expo at the Tulsa Fairgrounds.
Winter weather has forced the vaccination clinic to close five days over the past week, causing THD to reschedule 8-thousand appointments.
The health department is holding a clinic Saturday to make up a day and it is also adding a second location in Owasso Friday.
Keep in mind, these are all appointments that are already set through the health department. You can not just show up for a vaccination without an appointment.
