OKC City Council Vote Could Save Water Customers Money On March Bill

By: Jordan Dafnis OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City council members approved an emergency rate adjustment Tuesday that will save people some money on their water bill. This is all after the big winter storm the state experienced in February. During the record-breaking cold the city told people to drip their faucets. This caused people to use a lot more water, but city officials say they believe it was the right call because it likely prevented waterline breaks that would have caused an even greater amount of water loss and overall, more issues. This adjustment will be on the volume charges.
