Lagosians are delighted that they now have an administration which delivers the goods and is at the same time conscious of public opinion. The Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration is, in many respects, reminiscent of the Babatunde Fashola government which reengineered Lagos State while remaining humane. The contrast is the Akinwunmi Ambode government of 2015-19 which wanted to perform its primary task without regard for stakeholders. For instance, it woke up one morning and decided to sack thousands of waste management firms and replaced them with one unknown company. Even when the company proved grossly incompetent and Lagos State was being overrun by garbage, Ambode refused to bow to public opinion. The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a woman, identified as Queen Beatrice, for allegedly killing her husband, Emmanuel Ikujuni, at Omotosho town, in the Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the suspect hit the head of the deceased with a plank following an argument that ensued between them after Emmanuel allegedly called another woman on phone in his wife’s presence.
After the deceased was hit with the plank, he was said to have collapsed.
His neighbours rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

It was gathered that the deceased, Juliana, had engaged her husband, David in a serious argument on matrimonial issues and in the process, she slumped and sustained a severe head injury on February 16, 2021 around 10.pm.
While lying in the pool of her blood, she was not rescued by her husband and she died. x
Confirming the incident, the spokesman of Lagos State Police Command, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said that police operatives attached to Langbasa Division, Ajah, who were informed of the incident by a neighbours of the couple, arrested the suspect and evacuated the body to the mortuary.

The Lagos State Police Command is currently investigating a 42-year-old man, David Idibie, for the murder of his wife, Juliana Idibie in their residence at Joado Street, Oke Ira Nla, Ajah Area of Lagos.
It was learned that the deceased, Juliana had engaged her husband David in a hot argument on certain matrimonial issues and in the process, she slumped and sustained a severe head injury, on 16th February 2021 at about 10 pm.
While lying in her pool of blood, the angry husband refused to rescue her until she gave up the ghost.
