Coronavirus update: Chippewa County reaches 1,000 cases The Sault News As of Wednesday, data from the State of Michigan reported there have been 1,017 cumulative confirmed cases and 1,336 cumulative probables of COVID-19 in Chippewa County. There have been 32 deaths because of the virus.
