My dad worked in the natural gas and energy business, with a single company for 45 years (ATCO). He was a pioneer like many others of his generation. The ingenuity of the past 50 years of the oil and gas industry has been a source of pride and wealth for Albertans.
Just this week, however, a notable alarm was sounded as the IEA (International Energy Association) released their first “Net Zero by 2050” report, unequivocally stating: “There is no need for investment in new fossil fuel supply in our net zero pathway … .”
