Government is moving ahead with its plan to clear derelict boats that were abandoned on state property.
Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy Kirk Humphrey said very soon, there will be limits placed on the amount of time abandoned boats could be left at the fishing facilities.
“Many fishermen have expressed to me that they want the old boats moved as well. And we have already started the process as some boats have already been moved and others are in various stages of being moved. We have had several conversations with owners to move the old boats.
