Gordonbush Extension Wind Farm, situated 10 kms north east of Brora in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands, is generating first power just weeks after the delivery of the 11 Siemens Gamesa wind turbines to site was completed. When fully complete Gordonbush Extension, which is being constructed by SSE Renewables, will generate 38MW of wind-powered electricity, enough to power 46,000 UK homes each year.

Wells 35/11-25 S and 35/11-25 A will be drilled from the
Deepsea Atlantic drilling facility in position 61°02’12.72’’ N and 03°26’53.58’’ E after completing maintenance work on Gullfaks for Equinor in production licence PL 050.
Equinor is the operator with an ownership interest of 45 per cent. The other licensees are
Vår Energi (25 per cent),
Neptune Energy Norge (15 per cent) and
Idemitsu Petroleum Norge (15 per cent). The area in this licence consists of part of Block 35/11. The wells will be drilled about 10 kms west of the Fram field.
United Oil & Gas has provided a quarterly production update for the first quarter of 2021. All of United s production for the period was from the Kuwait Energy operated Abu Sennan Licence in Egypt, in which United holds a 22% working interest.
