県内の大堀相馬焼４窯元と台湾の人気クラフトビールメーカー臺虎精釀（タイフーブリューイング）が、器とオリジナルビールを合同で開発するプロジェクトを始めた。大堀相馬焼のデザインや構造を基に、台湾のニーズを踏まえたビアカップや器を開発し、海外への販路開拓を図る。
東日本大震災からの復興に取り組む事業者を支援する「ふくしまみらいチャレンジプロジェクト」の一環で、地域商社本田屋本店（会津若松市）が企画、商品開発支援などを行うセメントプロデュースデザイン（大阪市）が協力する。参加窯元は、陶徳窯（郡山市）やあさか野窯（同）、いかりや商店（白河市）、京月窯（福島市）の四つ。
