South Harz Potash Ltd (ASX:SHP) managing director Dr Chris Gilchrist says the company is making solid progress towards achieving an upgraded mineral resource estimate at the Ohmgebirge Potash Project in Germany, with drilling preparations and scoping study work progressing well.
In its latest quarterly update for the period ending June 30, the company highlighted its achievements on the back of an improving long-term outlook for the potash market.
Gilchrist said: We are making solid progress towards achieving an upgraded mineral resource estimate at Ohmgebirge with preparations for the drilling of the confirmatory holes progressing well and scoping study work schedules agreed.

Davenport Resources officially changes name to South Harz Potash
The new company name better represents the location of its potash assets in the South Harz region of Thüringia, Germany. The new ASX code has been confirmed as ASX:SHP as of Monday 17th May.
Davenport Resources Ltd (ASX:DAV) (FRA:D86) has officially changed the company’s name to South Harz Potash Ltd (ASX:SHP) following shareholder approval at the 4th May 2021 general meeting.
The effective date for the change of company name and ticker code on the ASX will be from the commencement of trading, Monday 17th May 2021.
Davenport Resources gears up for drilling of German potash projects with name change proposed
Funds from a recent capital raising will be used to conduct resource drilling and complete a scoping study for the Ohmgebirge Project. The company will appoint and mobilise drillers to Ohmgebirge once a drilling permit has been issued.
