COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio State football coach Ryan Day mentioned no one by name Wednesday while defending his program’s worthiness for the College Football Playoff.
Some of the shade has come from other prominent coaches, including Clemson’s Dabo Swinney and Florida’s Dan Mullen. Even when not specifically mentioning Ohio State, one could easily extrapolate to whom they were referring when they lamented teams who have played half as many games as theirs making the playoff.
