COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 22 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team continues its road swing as it travels to State College, Pa. for a tri-meet against Penn State and Maryland. Competition is set for Sunday at 2 p.m.

Ohio State (4-3, 4-2 Big Ten) is coming off a 195.950-194.050 victory over Rutgers. The Buckeyes claimed every team event title and tied their season best on vault (48.975). Individually, four gymnasts won at least a share of three events titles, led by season-high scores from Elexis Edwards on vault (9.875) and Jenna Swartzentruber on beam (9.850). Colby Miller earned the bars title with a 9.850.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Behind 32 saves from Tommy Nappier, the Ohio State men’s hockey team skated to a 3-2 win over No. 7/6 Michigan Friday in Value City Arena. The Buckeyes led 2-1 after the first period and 3-1 after the second, on goals from Gustaf Westlund, Jaedon Leslie and Patrick Guzzo, with Layton Ahac picking up two assists.
The Buckeyes (6-14-1, 6-13-0-0-1-0 B1G) and Wolverines (11-8-0, 9-8-0-1-0-0 B1G) will close the weekend and regular season series at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The game will be streamed through BTN Plus and on Ohio State Radio.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A select group of Ohio State men’s and women’s racers travelled to Ann Arbor, Mich., for the Silverston Invitational Friday, a three-team event featuring the host Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State in addition to the Buckeyes. Ohio State’s competitors performed extremely well, with nine wins 11 races entered. The Buckeyes did not send any field performers to the meet.
Junior Yanique Dayle picked led the way for the Buckeyes, picking up her first two wins in a Buckeye uniform after transferring from New Mexico Junior College, where she helped the team win the JUCO national indoor championship in 2020. Dayle set two personal bests in winning the 60 in 7.37 and the 200 in 24.35.
