over in that direction. yes, there s a briefing going on right behind us. this has become the command center here. the local elementary school, there s no school here today, businesses are shut. you drive around here and it s like a ghost town for many miles in many directions. this is a fairly rural part of the state, so it s not a densely populated area. it s a bit eerie when you drive here and there s no one here. all this started friday night around 9:00 when this train that was some 100 cars long crashed, apparently because of some kind of mechanical issue. we don t know what the exact cause is. the ntsb is here looking at that. about 50 of the 100 train cars detailed. about 20 of those 50, as we understand it, contain some sort of hazardous materials. the train was going from somewhere in illinois near pennsylvania. we re near the pennsylvania/ohio

biden will be joined by mitch mcconnell and others later today in an effort to highlight the bipartisan achievements. the president is traveling to the ohio border for an event to highlight this bridge that s due to receive federal funds for repairs. those funds come from the massive bipartisan infrastructure package the president signed into law in 2021. the american people want to see results and infrastructure is one of those needs that s not blue or red, it s just critical for the safety of our families to get to work, to church, or the kids to school. for the future of our economy. but if we can just view more things like infrastructure, there s nothing partisan about clean water, about expanding broadband, about ensuring the health care needs for our people. there is so much that we could get done. over the coming weeks president biden is expected to reiterate his bipartisan

ton. 18% in. we ll watch it play out. but you see john fetterman s color everywhere else. allegheny county is interesting in the sense that you have in conor lamb and john fetterman, two people whose political base is out here in the western part of the state. conor lamb s house district is west of pittsburgh out toward the ohio border. john fetterman was the mayor of braddock, which is here, eastern suburbs of allegheny county as you move back over. so this would be a fair fight or both of their territory right there. fetterman in allegheny county with almost half of the vote counted, 57-40. so still a long way to go. but fetterman led throughout this race and consistently going in. despite the health questions at the end, as you watch the map fill in, the democratic counting is coming in a little quicker. 54-30 when you re looking at a crowded race, 54-31 if you round that up. that s the kind of gap you like if you re at fetterman headquarters but there s a lot of map to do. fetter
