Police officers patrolling the Angola-Namibia border in the Ohangwena Region say they are faced with challenges in executing their duties amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Law enforcement officials find it difficult to control the situation as Namibia has a curfew in place while Angola has none.
They say the movement of people along the borderline is too much, as many are farmers and move back to their homestead in the neighbouring country anytime.
Angolan nationals alongside the border said they depend heavily for basic necessities on Namibia as they live far away from shops in their country.
