Eileen Pollina’s winsome watercolors have earned a loyal following over the last few years, adorning everything from artworks to greeting cards. Now the artist has opened her own shop at 452 Thames St.
Eileen on Thames carries her entire line of gifts and stationery, as well as other nautical-inspired items.
The website ohanga.com debuted last fall, offering affordable works by Rhode Island–based artists and artisans. The site proved so popular a bricks-and-mortar incarnation has now opened in the Brick Market Place at 225 Goddard Row.
Ohanga Newport sells fine art, accessories, beauty products and gift boxes, with plans to expand into classes and live events.
