Criminality, banditry will not end in Nigeria without restructuring Peter Obi

By Ikechukwu Odu, NSUKKA
The former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, on Tuesday said only restructuring can end the escalating criminality, banditry and other forms of insecurity in Nigeria.
Mr Obi who said that those fighting against restructuring are beneficiaries of the near failed state of the nation added that the greatest fight against insecurity in the country is to put food on the tables of Nigerians.
He spoke at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN, during the Association of Nsukka Professors’ 4th Adada Lecture, tagged ‘Restructuring, Security Challenges and Development.’
The dramatic video is reported to have been filmed in a church in Malawi.
The worshippers are head in the video screaming as if they were in a trance while they bow before the goat meat.
They appear to be mimicking the suffering of Jesus Christ who died on the cross to save mankind.
The goat had been killed and cut open before it was nailed, with its interior on display.
It is unclear what biblical reasoning informed the crucifixion of the goat and what communication the church members were having with it.

RESIDENTS of the agrarian community of Ogurugu, in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State are lamenting the hardship they currently face following the collapse of Isi Bridge linking the community to the rest of the state.
They have therefore sent a save our soul message to Enugu State Government to come to their rescue by repairing the bridge.
The aged bridge was said to have caved-in when a heavy duty truck conveying goods to the community impacted on it on the first day of January, 2021.
Community members who cried out for help in rehabilitating/reconstructing the bridge, told South-East Voice that it provided the linkage to their only access road, adding that they have been cut off from the other parts of the state since the incident happened.
