The league, in its Wallah message, noted that it is time for leaders in the country to uproot insecurity including the menace of banditry, kidnapping, extrajudicial killings, widespread raping of innocent girls and women, and all other vices that presently bedevil the country. In the message signed by State Secretary-General, Imam Tajudeen Adewumi, the league also felicitated the Muslim Ummah in the country on the occasion of the Eid-il-Fitri celebration which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
