Five pregnant Nigerian women have been delivered of babies at a make-shift Internally Displaced Persons camp located at a community in the neighbouring Benin Republic.
Our correspondent gathered on Sunday that the women were part of hundreds of residents of troubled communities in Yewaland, Ogun State, who fled to Benin Republic following alleged deadly attacks by suspected herdsmen.
One of the women was said to have had her baby delivered through a Caesarean operation in a Benin Republic hospital.
The residents were said to have fled to Eegelu, Ipobe, Igana, Ibore, Owode- Benin and Iga communities in Benin Republic.
