Woman charged in deadly shooting outside west Birmingham Shell

A woman has been charged in this week’s deadly shooting at a west Birmingham gas station.
Quarmica Lashun Colley, 42, is charged with murder in Wednesday’s slaying outside the Shell station on Third Avenue North. She is charged in the death of 40-year-old Ogle Terrance Avery.
The shooting happened at 8:18 a.m. Wednesday at the Shell at 800 Third Avenue West, said Sgt. Rod Mauldin. West Precinct officers arrived to the find the victim lying in the roadway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to UAB Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 8:43 a.m.

BIRMINGHAM – The Birmingham Police Department has made an arrest in the murder of Ogle Terrance Avery, who was shot at a Shell station in Birmingham on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
Quarmica Lashun Colley, 42, of Birmingham, has been charged with murder. Her bond is set at $150,000.
According to Birmingham police, the preliminary investigation suggests the victim met Colley at a gas station located at 800 3
rd Avenue West, where an argument ensued in the parking lot prior to Avery being fatally wounded. Officers responded to the call at approximately 8:18 a.m.
Avery was transported to UAB Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
