Officials ID Vallejo man killed in crash at Highway 12, Beck Avenue
FAIRFIELD A Vallejo man was killed and five others injured when a pickup truck slammed into the back of a Chevrolet Camaro, causing a six-vehicle pileup Thursday evening on Highway 12 at Beck Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Diego Morales, 24, the driver of the Camaro, was identified as the individual who died in the crash, the Solano County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office reported Friday.
He was the only person in the Camaro.
The CHP reported that a Dodge 2500 pickup, driven by Michael Solis, 35, of Vallejo, failed to stop while traveling west on Highway 12 and coming up on traffic at Beck Avenue.
