it s much easier to not give a [ bleep ]. i m going to tell you this right now. i know you. and i can see the water in your eyes even when you re smiling, and i know how much pain and how much anguish you re going through right now. i don t want to see your whole life gone. if you get 20, 25, whatever, i m going to call that a blessing. if you get lucky like that, then you need to walk this walk, and walk straight out that door and not come back like this. over and over again. i don t want to get caught up in that neither. and that s not my plan. it never has been my plan. you know what i mean? yeah, we all get discouraged and we all do things. we re human. man, we get discouraged. but we got to pull ourselves out of it. like you re saying, keep our eyes on that tunnel, on that light. as far as the escape stuff, maybe that s just not what i was meant to do.
