Annual General Meeting wrap up and Honorary Fellows welcomed
Engineers Australia’s recent Annual General Meeting gave members the opportunity to learn about the achievements and challenges in 2019-2020, ask questions and meet our new Honorary Fellows.

Held in a “hybrid” online/face-to-face format, the Annual General Meeting was attended by members around Australia.
Members received updates on achievements, progress and challenges from the CEO Dr Bronwyn Evans and the 2020 National President and Board Chair Chris Champion including:
Membership growth (up 4% from the previous year to 100,911), record non-student membership (up 5% to 72,748) and record Chartered membership (up 7% to 26,401)
The passing of legislation for registration of engineers in Victoria and New South Wales
