Share Updated: 6:48 AM EDT May 4, 2021 WLWT Digital Staff WLWT Digital Staff A Kenton County Police officer received an award this week for his lifesaving actions last month when a 70-year-old man was found nonresponsive.Chief Spike Jones presented a Life Saving Award to Officer Michael Allgeier for his actions that day.On March 10, Officer Allgeier responded to a squad call in Independence. The call was for a 70-year-old man found nonresponsive and not breathing. A resident was attempting CPR, but Allgeier took over and conducted CPR until he was relieved by Independence Advanced Life Support Unit 425.Advanced Life Support personnel said that the early intervention by Allgeier and Officers Woling, Hager and Fassier of the Indepe
