READINGTON – Three men are facing charges after allegedly brandishing an assault weapon during a road rage incident Sunday afternoon on Route 202.
Robert Figueroa, 19, of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, Axel Rafael Colon Merly, 18, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Miguel Angel Otero Journet, 19, of Bear, Delaware, have been charged with second-degree unlawful possession of an assault firearm in Somerset County, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office announced.
In Hunterdon County, the trio is facing charges of second-degree possession of weapon for unlawful purpose, third-degree terroristic threats and fourth-degree possession of a high-capacity magazine, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The three men are lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.

BRANCHBURG, NJ – Police arrested three men and seized an AR-15 assault weapon and fully-loaded magazine following a road rage incident Feb. 28, according to Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
Arrested were Robert Figueroa, 19, of Whitehall, Pa., Axel Rafael Colon Merly, 18, of Allentown, Pa., and Miguel Angel Otero Journet, 19, of Bear, Del.
