An Everett woman accused of shoving her way into Bedford Elementary and flipping her middle finger at a school secretary waived her right to a preliminary hearing on defiant trespassing charges on Wednesday.
The Bedford Area School District Police Department said Rebecca A. Ibarra, 38, entered the school building about 9:30 a.m. March 11 while dropping her daughter off for late arrival at the school.
Police said Ibarra interacted with the secretary as the door to the building was remotely unlocked to allow Ibarraâs daughter to enter. The girl became upset about walking to class alone and Ibarra allegedly shoved the door open and âdisplayed the middle fingerâ to the secretary as she entered the building, police said.
